Gillons Insurance Brokers was thrilled to participate in Westland Insurance 40 Weeks of Giving campaign in celebration of their 40th year in business. If you haven’t heard, Gillons is now a division of Westland, having been acquired in 2020.
The Gillons team selected the Bear Clan Patrol in Fort Frances, Ontario to support with a monetary donation. Myron, David, Chad, and Kayle from our Fort Frances location presented the donation to James Eastman, Bear Clan Patrol Leader, and Patrol crew members Sharon Morrison & Ryan Buckshot.
The Bear Clan Patrol responds to our communities in need to protect the most vulnerable; young women, children and endangered youths. The Patrol is a non-profit volunteer group made up of volunteers who donate their time to needle clean up in parks and the downtown corridors of Fort Frances. This great organization also provides safety rides for the victims of domestic violence.
This donation will help off-set the costs of the Patrol’s rent, fuel for the mobile patrols, and the safety rides provided throughout the late night and early morning hours.
Thank you to the Bear Clan for working to keep our community safe. To learn more about how you can support this great cause, visit https://www.facebook.com/northwesternontario/
