Leadership changes mark new chapter in the Gillons Insurance story./
For over 80 years Gillons has worked with the businesses and people of Northern Ontario to develop insurance solutions unique to the region. We’ve grown from a single office with three employees in Fort Frances to a network of eight offices across Northern Ontario.
We’re extremely proud of what we have accomplished and so it is with mixed emotions that we announce that Duane Cridland, President and CEO of Gillons will be retiring this May after more than thirty years of dedicated and tireless service to the organization and to the community. Grace Cridland – Duane’s wife and business partner – will also be retiring from her role as SVP Administration and Finance after an incredible thirty five years of helping build Gillons into what it is today. The Cridland name will be represented through Duane and Grace’s daughter Christine, who is based out of our Fort France office.
It is very important to Duane and Grace that Gillons continues to be well positioned for the future and so we are pleased to announce that Myron Romaniuk, currently Vice President, Commercial Insurance will be promoted to the role of President and CEO. Myron has been part of the Gillons’ family for over fourteen years and is committed to delivering on the Gillons’ vision of bringing people-inspired insurance to Northern Ontarians for many years to come.
